PAT = 24 ... 99.5%:hardy:
QR = 18 ... 74.1%
RC = 20 ... 67.0%
Bio = 18 ... 65.1%
GC = 18 ... 60.6%
OC = 19 ... 73.9%
TS = 18 ... 64.5%
AA = 19 ... 75.3%

Bio= i agree, got that weird chicken/mouse question and a random slide. much more conceptual than expected, kaplan was helpful for foundation, TS had good questions but wish id done achiever and destroyer.
GC = a lot less calculations then expected, but ok
OC = not too bad
QR = "nothing can prepare you for this and the dry erase board combo and the amount of time given......." much harder than TS and Kap
RC = Dude the medical ethics reading, i wanted to bash my head thru the computer screen. threw my flow off completely
PAT = i thought it was on par with TS

Studied with TS, Kap, Schaums

Im thinking about retaking the DAT...but am really borderline with it. What do you all think I should do?

my top choices were stonybrook, pitt and nova but im not too sure now.
any opinions would be appreciated.

thanks
m

ps my gpa's are around 3.5-3.6 for both non sci and sci.

Don't be so hard on yourself. That is a kick ass PAT score. If I got what you got in the PAT I would start break dancing in the middle of the testing center. FWIW...your scores show balance w/ no glaring weaknesses.

Whether or not you want to retake is a personal choice, but w/ a 19 AA and that killer PAT score and your gpa you definitely have a good chance. You are indeed competetive.

Good luck!

grrr... medical ethics article... omg who the hell could write such a POS article.

hey i go to nova undergrad.... all you need for nova grad is 18! you did well

are you serious, QR is harder than kaplan subject tests??
OMG i am screwed big time then
anyone else confirm this tragedy??

All I know is that I was scoring almost consistent 22's on the practices in QR, and I ended up with a 19. It is doable, but I let myself get thrown early and just couldn't get back on track. I am really good at math, and practiced a lot so I was rather disappointed when I started getting one question after another that I couldn't answer easily. I only have myself to blame though, it's not the test. Many people have been doing great on QR. So just practice as much as you can, and don't treat it as "a given". Most of all, during the test (and it's hard because it's the end and you are worn out) don't give up. Just keep skipping to the easier ones (there are quite a few) to get as many points as possible. Then try to go back and work on some of the harder ones. Just accept the fact that it will be tough so you aren't surprised... Good luck!

Can u please re-post the funny Q? Im interested on what might they possibly ask about a chicken and mouse...

dont worry about it, no one knows the right answer for sure.... weird question
