First time poster, but I've been lurking for about a month. I just took the DAT today and here are my scores:
PAT: 18
QR: 20
RC: 19
Bio: 20
Chem: 23
Orgo: 24
TS: 22
AA: 21
I started studying around a month ago, 4-5 hours a day. I was also doing research 40 hrs/week so I didn't get to put in as much time as I would have liked.
Bio: Pretty hard, as I was going through I wasn't feeling good at all about it. I was pleasantly surprised by my score, as I expected to do much, much worse. I read Cliff's 3-4 times and Destroyer twice for this section. Destroyer didn't really help much for this section. I bought Schaum's but never opened it cause it looked so boring haha.
Chem: Not bad. I solely used Destroyer for this, but most of it was much simpler then it.
Orgo: Pretty straightforward. Again, I only used destroyer for this and it seems to have everything you need. I got like 2 NMR questions and 1 IR question, but they were pretty basic.
PAT: Ironically, I thought I was doing really well in this section and was pretty pissed when I saw my score. Angles and pattern folding were pretty damn hard, I'm pretty sure I missed a bunch of those. Keyholes and TFE were ok, same with cubes. Hole punching was just...different then Crack DAT PAT. I use the grid method and a lot of the time it was really hard to see which hole they were punching because it just didnt line up. I was scoring 20+ on all Crack tests, so I don't know what happened.
RC: Didn't study at all for this section. I got the piano passage (hard), Cell communication, and aspirin. Again, I thought I was doing really well on this section and was expecting no less then 20.
QR: Really pressed for time on this one. Lots of word problems, didn't need to know any weird conversions or anything like that. There were a few easy ones, but most were tough. I must have marked a 1/3 of them the first time through. I didn't study for this section at all, although I did do an SAT math test yesterday haha.
Overall, fairly happy with my scores, but I'm betting if I didn't have to work 8 hours a day I coulda've done a little better. That's not an excuse, though. Anyways, hope this helps!
