Hi guys. I am finally done with the DAT. Here are my scores:

PAT: 18
QR : 14🙁
RC : 15🙁
Bio: 20
GC: 18
OC: 26🙂

TS: 20
AA: 19

What do you guys think? My GPA is 3.85 and I am an RDA (registered dental assistant) with 3 years of dental experience. So do you think I have a chance even with my low QR and RC or should I retake the test? I am applying for this cycle and have already submitted my application. I came to US 4 years ago and the RC section was very hard for me in terms of timing. I am a California resident and applied for 21 schools. I will be happy to answer any questions regarding the test. I studied from Kaplan, DAT Destroyer, Topscore and Achiever. I should say that Destroyer is a must. Also RC was nothing like the practice tests; too many tone questions😡

3.8 and 19/18? I think you def. have a shot since not all schools have strict cut-offs I believe.

I wouldnt worry....you have great sciences...you scored lower in qr & rc but i dont think it stands out a lot with that gpa! congrats!

my RC scores:
Achiever 18, 19 , 19
topscore 19 , 19 , 19 I usually could'nt finish the last passage but at least could answer the questions since they were all kind of easy to find it in the passage but in the real thing I should say there were barely 3 to 4 questios from the first two passage that would give you a key word to find them. Last passage was the easiest one ( About Fungi disease) and I answered to some of the questions based on my knowledge. And unfortunately didn't have time to finish it.
Ochem : If you know kaplan and destroyer you are fine. No resonance stabiization.But definately IR , NMR and just the basic , no longer than 3 arrows, predict the product reactions. Achiever and kaplan Ochem sections are harder than the real thing.
