Hey Guys! I'm so happy to finally be able to focus on school and extracurriculars 🙂 The past month and a half were not fun. To those of you who still have to write it, stick it out!! I'm sure you'll do awesome 😀

Here's my DAT breakdown. Let me know what you think. Do you think this is competitive enough for international applicants?

PAT - 24
QR - 23
RC - 19 🙂thumbdown ran out of time)
Bio - 20
G. chem - 20
ORGO - 23
TS - 21
AA - 21

Just a question: since I'm planning to apply in July, do you know if your DAT scores are sent to the schools for each application cycle (if you choose not to rewrite it?) 😕

These are solid all around scores. NICE job on PAT very impressive 👍. What set of RC questions did you get if you dont mind me asking?

I can't remember exactly what questions were being asked for the RC section, but alot of the scientific names in the paper (I can only remember the one paper on fungi) were needed to answer the questions. sigh* my memory is terrible.

Here's what I used to study:

BIO - Kaplan book + notes from alanan84 (read both 3-4 times?)

O. CHEM + G. CHEM - Chad's videos
Math and PAT I just practiced by doing

I also used the Cliff's Test Prep DAT book.. but it really isn't the greatest since incorrect answers periodically show up. Apart from that.. they go into alot of detail when answering the review questions.. so it's a great way of reviewing for other things as well. i.e. A question they might ask is: DNA molecules, made in vitro in the laboratory, that contain DNA from two or more organisms are referred to as ..... (recombinant DNA). They explain the process in detail and even includes a diagram, which is helpful 🙂

I honestly used very little resources compared to many other people, but practice does make perfect. Alot of the questions that are being posted on these forums (especially O chem) are actually alot harder than the actual DAT, in my opinion.

Alan's notes seem like they're a summary of cliffs ap bio mixed with destroyer solutions 😛. If you've done both, you'll recognize losta stuff word for word.

Hmmm... I was often distracted by other things on the side, so I only started studying seriously about a month ago (around 8 hours a day). I was a bit disappointed about bio.. cuz I studied the most for it, but overall.. it turned out ok 😛

Dude! Awesome scores! I wish I can get those on my test haha

Good luck on applying. I think you will get in for sure.

And could you send me those notes (alan 84 notes I think?) for bio to my email? it's [email protected]

Thanks man and again good job!

Congrats, that's awesome.

But hey guys, how about just PM him if you want the notes instead of spamming requests on the thread.
