I'm in a post bacc program with guaranteed admission as long as I made a 17, so needless to say, no retake here! I've taken the DAT twice before, but barely studied for it and my sciences were terrible (English wasn't a great major to prepare for the DAT!). This time around I took Kaplan in the fall and did all of their practice tests, did all 3 Topscore tests last week (total science only though), and went through Destroyer inside and out. Study hard and it will pay off!

What is this "guaranteed admission" you are talking about? never heard of it.

U kiked some butt this time! How did you study for PAT. I bombed this section during my first time. Need some serious help!

to be honest with you, I didn't spend much time on PAT over the month leading up to the test. in my post bacc program, we had a perceptual ability class over the summer and fall semesters... so that helped with the fundamentals. I then turned to Crack DAT PAT (great investment) and worked on it as needed until test time. Basically, with this section it's just about practice. If you put in the time, then you'll definitely raise your score.
