It's been a while since my last post. I took the exam for the first time and didnt score as well as i wanted to and decided to retake the exam....here are my new scores.

PAT 18
QR 15
GC 22
BIO 26
OC 30
RC 23
TS 25
AA 23

To anyone who has not done as well as he/she thought they can do.....try again! Your hard work will pay off.
As for what I did differently the second time around.....destroyer was the key. Now I'm not saying to neglect other resources but destroyer coupled with Cliffs Bio TopScore and Achiever will definitely prepare you for the exam. But, in my opinion without the Destroer OC roadmaps I in no way would have pulled a 30 on OC.
To SDNers, thank you so much for pushing me to do better.....this is a wonderful site and you guys really helped me out.....good luck to you all!

No matter how i studied i just couldn't pull up the QR and not to mention it's the last section when your brain is fried.......for RC it just flowed i'm not an avid reader i just stayed extremely focused and marked questons if i couldn't get the answer within 45 sec....after going through 17 questions i was able to go back to answer any questions that i skipped

Yes I am applying for this cycle....i put my app on hold in schools by upsating aadsas that i was retaking.....now i'm gonna fax in my unofficial report and see what happens....

Can you please tell me what you meant by upsating AADSAS to put your application on hold.. I am also applying this cycle and took my DAT yesterday but did not score well... my applications are already mailed to schools from AADSAS...the only thing missing is the DAT score and then that application fee that we have to pay to the school...I am planning to retake withing 90 days in that case should I let the school wait for my DAT scores or should individually call all the schools and ask them to put my application on hold..

Wow...the scores on this forum this year are just ridiculous. i thought my 24/24 was above average last year... its like the norm now lol. glad i applied last year lol

Sorry i meant updated AADSAS. If you go onto you application you can update in the DAT score section that you plan on retaking...schools will look at your application and withhold it from review till they recieve your updated schools.....i also made sure to call the schools directly and notified them to withhold my app from review....i reccomend doing that

No problem this is what this site is meant for to help others.......just find out which schools have deadlines in january i know that some schools interview through march so don't count yourself out...but call the schools that have deadlines in january and ask them for advice and see if you can fax your scores to them immediately after you take them..the next time you take it not it out of the park and they'll be happy to accept you......just don't give up and be persistent and call the schools you are interested in and make sure to tell them that this is something you want badly.....

sorry for the delayed answer.....Well they see your previous DAT scores regardless so updating it and filling in your DAT scores will not hurt you.....if you update your app saying that you're gonna retake it it's possible they wont just throw your app in the garbage and reject you....i'm not quite sure about it but i definitely recommend calling the schools it wont hurt you and i'm sure they'll be happy to advise you properly......gl!

congrats! sweet scores. i think you'll be ok with the qr score but be able to explain it on an interview. they love to bring those things up, but your sciences are awesome and nice ts & aa.

I took mine in August and bombed PAT. I got 14 on Pat and my TS was 21 and AA was 19. How id you study for the PAT? I am planning a retake and would appreciate your assistance!
