Studied for weeks...and I thought it would be over...

PA-20
QR-15 😱
RC-19
Bio-19
GC-21
OC-20

TS-20
AA-19

My GPA is 3.4 and I have done research/tutoring/100+ hours at the dental clinic...I'm thinking about retaking this test. Any advice would be helpful.

Thanks

Your ok, most schools dont care about QR. I had a 13 and got in. Dont retake, you seem strong.

your scores are great! keep up the great work and apply with those scores. my QR was also 15, my worst subject. just finished my first semester and did great. go with it!

I also think your scores are good. Did you mind sharing how did you study and which text did you use????

Thanks for the advice guys, I really appreciate it.

This is how I prepared:

Bio: Campbell, Schaum's Outlines, DAT Destroyer
Gchem: School Text, DAT Destroyer
Ochem: School Text, DAT Destroyer
PAT: Crack The DAT PAT (5 tests Queen Edition)
Practice test programs: DAT Achiever and Topscore.

some thoughts:

Destroyer is worth every penny

DAT Achiever is really good practice for PAT b/c it's way harder than the actual thing in my opinion. My highest PAT score was 18 and lowest was 15 for Achiever. Crack the DAT PAT is less killer but still good practice.

DCeater,

your scores look good. do you want to sell the practice tests and campbell?

thanks

Nice job! Probably feels great to be done. I am planning on taking my test in the summer and I saw that you said you took practice tests. How did they compare to the real thing? Were your scores consistent with them? Did you feel that Destroyer prepared you well?

Any help would be awesome and GREAT GOING again. Overall very well rounded, you did well in all 3 sciences!

Hi thanks,

Yes, Destroyer helped me for sure. Thanks Dr. Romano! My scores are pretty indicative of how much time and effort I spent studying on each subject.

PAT
Crack the DAT PAT: consistent 18's and 20s.
Achiever: 15-18 (so difficult)

Science Bio/Chem/Ochem
Achiever: 16-19/16-18/19-20
Topscore:18-20/18-19/20's

Reading Comp
Achiever: 20

QR
Achiever:15,16

Those are all the practice tests I took. Generally, I did better on the actual DAT than all of the practice tests except for QR and Bio. DAT Bio is kind of random.

So if you're scoring 18-19 or even 20s on your practice tests you're in very good shape I think.

Good luck

Thanks for the help. Good luck, with application process and congrats again
