OCHEM 25 (98.4)

I am pretty much satisfied with my science scores, but not so much with the others. Should I take it again in August? :'(

For chem and ochem, I used chad's chem, destroyer, and kaplan white book.
Some people say chad's orgo is not that helpful and it is true that he leaves out some stuff like williamson ether synthesis, but still I STRONGLY recommend watching the videos. It is 1000000 times better than reviewing the stuff from the blue book or white book.

Bio: I went over the Alan's notes, Kaplan white book, destroyer, Cliffs AP Bio, and wikipedia. His notes are truly great. There are few holes here and there, but you can easily fill those gaps if you do extra problems. Personally, I would rather concentrate on reading the Cliffs than Kaplan. The white book covers really basic stuff and you need some more detailed understanding in some areas.

And honestly ... I did not go over QR and RC at all. I just went for them today on spot.

Although I did not find Kaplan blue book or white book helpful, their midterms, diagnostic exam etc (those extra problems when you take the actual class) are great. Read through the explanations on the problems that you've missed. On the side note, I did not take the Kaplan class. I just got the books online and purchased those extra problems on ebay.

Depends what your other stats are. Pretty solid scores all around, especially sciences! If you're around a 3.5GPA, then I'd say no...apply and enjoy dental school 🙂

I'm sure you'll be fine if you apply early. What materials did you use to study for each section? Can you give a quick breakdown?

I don't think a 21AA / 22TS is retake worthy.

Whats your GPA / science GPA?

Overall, nice scores 👍

I would not retake. Your AA and TS are great and you've got nothing below 18. (Kind of like me) But yeah, it would help to know what your GPA is...

Glad those notes helped!

The thing is my gpa isn't anything near 4.0 ... much closer to 3.0.

my another question is do dental schools consider where you're coming from?
Meaning, my school was a hard-core-pre-med-filled school ... I was never a science or math genius either but I worked my ass off during the undergrad years to pull off 'B's in a very competitive and demanding environment.
Will dental schools see that?

And thanks again ALAN =)

apply with those scores. Those science scores will definitely help. Your other scores are by no means bad enough to hinder your chances. Apply early and I think you'll be fine. Good luck
