I have a 3.2 GPA. What do you think my chances of getting in are if I apply this year? Should I retake and continue with my application for this year OR just wait until next year?

Bottom line, it's really up to you to retake it or not, since there's always a risk of doing worse on your next DAT. However, I applied 2 years ago with almost identical stats and didn't even get an interview, and other sections of my application were honestly solid. So, from my own experience I'd say yeah retake it, but then again it's a decision you need to make. You can always hope for the best and expect the worst but I don't think that a wise idea.

I think you should retake. I didn't get accepted with my stats still on waitlist. Trust me and try to take it after 3 months. You might still get accepted this cycle if you retake in 3 months and submit your new scores..

Btw, your scores are not bad. You might still get interviews but to be on safe side don't give up reviewing sciences and retake it...

I know the average AA and TS have risen in the past years, but those scores aren't bad. Is it that school are looking for AA's of 19 with a higher TS? Would the answer for possible acceptance change greatly if for example someone had these scores with a 3.7 overall and 3.6 science? Or is there another factor?

I say apply with the grades you have. The truth is you never know...that score may just as well get you into dental school. If you feel the need to take the DAT again, take it and submit your 2nd round scores after you have applied already.

I think you are good to go and have a shot 🙂 But apply broadly. You won't have a chance if you don't give yourself one. And I'm not saying this just to be nice 😛
