You WILL get several interviews and get accepted somewhere. Those are SOLID scores and your GPA is also SOLID. So you have nothing to worry about. Right now, go get a book on how to perform well on interviews and pick out a suit. Congrats. Wonderful job 🙂

My achiever score was
PAt 16 QR 19 RC 15 BC 21 GC 19 OC 18 TS 20 AA 18
PAt 17 QR 18 RC 16 BC 19 GC 16 OC 18 TS 18 AA 17
PAt 17 QR 18 RC 15 BC 18 GC 18 OC 18 TS 18 AA 17

harder than achiever?! Topscore was easy? You stated every science section was hard! but you got higher in them than your RC which you said was easy 😕. Also you said your DAT science was harder than achiever tests but you never got above a 20 mainly in your achiever sciences but did so on the real thing?? so how could it be harder?😕

Ok I am now shivering in my boots for my DAT on tuesday!

I've been freaking out too, which is why I asked about achiever scores.

My achiever 1&2 are slightly higher across the board except in RC, but I am still tearing my hair out!!! I guess I am kind of relieved about the RC, since I also am getting about 15

How was your topscore marks?

Also, like rickblas said, how did you get a 22TS if it was harder than achiever 😱

For g-chem and orgo, Achiever had question that I was able to solve but it required some time. Also the questions that I missed on achier was because of my mistake, not because I didn't know how to solve the question. Bio was more random than achiever.
I think the questions looks on DAT is like the questions on Topscore but I felt the real exam was really random (not only for the bio but also for the orgo and g chem). DAT had question that I never seen and I was unable to solve them. This made me feel that the questions were difficult and I had to guess a lot.
RC was easy compare to achiever, CDR and kaplan.

its hard to convince people you had "hard" science questions when you scored a 22 TS.... I mean thats missing 7-9 questions out of the 100 sciences.

I think your still traumatized from the test lol. But really, great scores, if you don't get into dental schools, honestly, none of us stand a chance

I had few questions of lab technique, lab equipment for G-chm which Kaplan didn't cover. I think I was really lucky ..

congrats!!
now i'm really worried about bio...I'm not a bio major, so I don't know a lot of the basic biology stuff...

I'm reading through Barron's AP Biology since I can't find Cliff's in a local store.
I'm hoping the GC section is similar to the Canadian DAT, since my GC is one of my stronger points.

I'm most worried about Bio, OC, and Math.
from what i've heard, the math is pretty damn hard....

hey Rosso, what do you mean by "international applicant?"
I'm from Canada, what about you?

and not to mention my GPA is only 3.19 =(

Yes math was extremely hard ! I don't know how I got 22. For bio, I highly recommend you to read campbell text book!

I heard there are quotas for international students. I'm from South Korea and I heard for private school they have limit for students from korea, and also for students from canada.

hey congrats on your scores!!
what is the campbell book everybody keeps talking about? is it an actual textbook or a study aid to be bought seperatley? please let me know! thanks so much!!

Yep, its extremely hard to get into Dental School as an international applicant. If you were a citizen, and had those scores+gpa, I would say you're super solid. But, you're international. I have no clue how hard it is. But I think you're solid none-the-less. =D

Wow, very impressive scores! When you say you read Campbells for bio, are you referring to Campbells Biology textbook edition 8? as in you read all 56 chapters?

Need to get that high DAT.

I'm going towards it like crazy. That's really the only for us 3.0-3.5 gpa folks. post-bacc works too, but given that we all want to get in this cycle 🙄.

On another note, i'd also really like to see how Canadians do versus Americans, especially us folk with low GPA.

lol.. I'm south korean too
I'm takin mine in a week.. T_T
I think your scores are solid, even if you're an international.
your GPA is pretty good too, just prepare for the interview well 🙂
Good luck on your applications!
