Got back from the testing center a couple hours ago. Just sat down to relax for a bit so heres my breakdown.
PAT: 18 (49.7%)
QR: 18 (73%)
RC: 18 (37.5%)
Bio: 22 (95.8%)
GC: 24 (96.1%)
OC: 29 (99.3%)
TS: 24 (98.6%)
AA: 22 (95.7%)
Study Materials:
CDP
DAT Destroyer
Math Destroyer
Qvault
Cliffs
PAT:
This section was hard! I was averaging a 20 on CDP. I thought everything was similar to CDP but keyholes were so much more difficult. I heard good things about Achiever's PAT but didn't use it. Don't get me wrong, CDP is a great source for PAT but definitely make sure you practice A LOT.
QR:
I suck at math so I'm pretty content with the 18 here. I used Math Destroyer and did 3 tests on qvault (averaged a 21). The qvault tests were a tad easier than the test. I was able to finish with like 5 minutes and used the time to go back and look at my answers. I saw that I made some bone headed mistakes on some questions so I was able to quickly change that. Time is important here, so practice with that.
RC:
I'm not that great at this either. I took the first qvault test (20) and just practiced with some MCAT passages.
Bio:
DESTROYER!! All you need. I used this and supplemented it with some chapters of Cliff's that I was struggling with. This section was not nearly as random as I was anticipating.
GC:
DESTROYER!! Just know it and you'll be fine. The test was pretty straight forward. Nothing out of the ordinary here.
OC:
DESTROYER!! Just know this and you'll be more than okay. The test was waaaaaay easier than the book but don't take it lightly if you find yourself struggling with the book. Don't tell yourself "oh the actual thing is gonna be easier so I don't have to worry about it." DO IT. And learn it because you'll get a great score if you know everything in the book.
Destroyer is the best thing that ever touched the earth. Seriously, its phenomenal. Happy studying everyone! Any questions, feel free and I'll respond asap.
