Just took the dat yesterday, I did okay, would have been happy with my scores except for Ochem, but I knew going into it that was my weakest section. The test I took was very different compared to the material I studied and saw on practice tests. Anyway, done with this one and now to take the mcat in 30 days.

What materials did you use to study?

I used the kaplan blue book & barrons, plus the kaplan mcat flashcards for the sciences. I didn't do any prep for the QR or the RC, though.

Would you rather get accepted to medical or dental school? I used to be pre-medicine but recently switched to dentistry for a variety of reasons.

why are you also taking the MCAT?

I registered to take the mcat fearing I would fail the dat. There are perks to both med & dent schools...so if I take both I leave myself more options, I feel.

The QR was the only section I felt rushed for, I finished like 2 mins early. I am a math person somewhat so only a few questions were difficult to me. I would say review the trig angles: sin, arcsin, etc. That's the one thing I wish I had gone over.
