8/20/08 6/6/10
PAT 21 93% ----> 24 98%
QR 19 81.9% ----> 20 95.1%
RC 18 38.1👎 ----> 17 35.7% omg.........😡
BIO 18 61.9% ----> 20 91.3%
GC 19 70.7% ----> 21 91.6%
OC 22 89.8% ----> 21 89.7👎

TS 20 84% ----> 21 96.2%
AA 19 73.5% ----> 20 93.4%

I applied last cycle and only got two interviews and is on waitlist for one school. My gpa was overall 3.49 sci 3.38..

I just dont understand how the percentage system work. percentages are not sent to schools right??

anyways I am just so worried about my RC...should i retake????

i will post breakdown tomm. so exhausted right now.

Great scores. No need for a retake, but select your schools carefully. You show a nice improvement overall. Take it easy yo!

your first score was totally mediocre. not solid at all, bunch of mediocre scores with O chem being your best. not surprised that you only got two interviews. now your second scores are pretty solid

joking right...

jjw822: I think you should get in with these stats.

Was there any reason you did not get in last cycle? I am applying this cycle with similar stats that you did not get in with last year.

Are you kidding? Mediocre scores, those are at the average for acceptances into dental school. The national average for people taking the DAT is 17 AA. So who knows what the h#$% you know who is smoking. This year you will get in! Kill the interviews, good luck.

thanks for telling everyone how you did

no its the truth, i applied with those scores first time around and got 2 interviews so im not just saying things out of my @ss

No...you're obviously a punk kid who thinks he's smarter/better than everyone else around him, which is why you only go around saying negative things to everyone on these boards. These boards are here to help people and the only things I've noticed that you post are negative. (Even for the short while you've been here)

If you woulda asked me, I woulda said the retake was not necessary.

I don't think you did better nor worse on the retake. 1 pt up in AA and TS isn't MUCH of a difference. Either way you look at it, you have (overall) good numbers (GPA and DAT wise).

I believe the reason you didn't get in last cycle had NOTHING to do with your numbers, maybe not enough shadowing? maybe you didn't apply to enough schools? maybe you didn't answer interview questions smoothly? there are ALOT of factors that contribute to a rejection letter.

people always miss this, when a school calls you in for an interview, this means that they like your application, they liked what they saw, they just wanted to get to know you and get a feel for what kind of personality you have.

If you dont mind me asking, jjw822, what were your GPAs to go along with those scores?

Because your scores are pretty impressive...

@jjw, Do you mind me asking how you changed study habits? Did you use different materials? Different methods?
