Alright everyone I just came back from the testing center...my appointment was at 12 pm but I went in there at like 9 am cuz I woke up early but the lady was being a biatch and didnt let me start until 11 cuz it was a "full" day even tho there were like 2 people there...w/e
First off I would like to thank EVERYONE on here for their support these past two months while I was studying for the DAT. I would like to give a shout out to all my homies: PistolePete, DCRedSkins, MStoothlady, harrygt, pooyah, glycogen, DaNuch, Orgodox, and HoangDDS.
So Let me give everyone hope for those taking a second time. My first outing was not so successful, I took my first test in January after studying for all 3 weeks, along with the pressure from a lot of people even tho I was not ready and knew I wasnt ready to take the test I still went into it and took it. In no means am I sorry that I took it twice, if anything it actually helped me...because my second time I felt way more confident and relaxed. The first time I took the test I was shaking and my heart was beating a thousand miles per hour.
Materials Used:
Cliff's AP bio
Schaum's
Destroyer
Kaplan bb
Kaplan online tests
Crack PAT DAT
Achiever
Topscore
Princeton Stuff (dunno wut its called I got copies from a friend of min)
So enough talking here are the results from my test today:
PAT: 21 (93%)
QR: 15 (38.3%) This is EXACTLY what I was hoping for because I stink at math.
RC 18 (38.1)
BIO: 24 (98.4%)
GC: 21 (86.2%)
OC: 27 (98.2%)
TS: 23 (97.7%)
AA: 21 (91.0%)
Breakdown:
PAT: I thought this was actually harder than CPD, there were alot of weird stuff I have NEVER seen before so I guess its new. There were like 2 hole punching that was like not even a half fold it was more like a quarter or something it was weird. Paper folding def. easier, Angle ranking was RIDICULOUS, TFE was not that bad, and the most trouble I had was on aperture...completely weird stuff and not even compared to crack. Cube counting was easy I used kaplan's method and that works the best I found.
QR: I am soooo happy I got this score seriously, this section is very very hard for me because I havent taken math for over 2 years. I can care less about this score and hopefully schools will feel the same.
RC: I thought i did much better on this section, a lot of weird T/F questions that obviously if you didnt read the whole passage your screwed. But that doesnt mean your not going to get the same thing so dont expect it.
BIO: This section was weird, like 5 questions I thoguht were very very weird and random and I never saw them before. But at the same time I would say 80% of the test is application and gimme questions.
GC: I thought this section was my strongest but yea not so much, I thought I was gonna kill this section but there were a lot of tricks you had to look out for.
OC: By far the easiest section on the DAT, really straightforward stuff.
Alright so basically I have no test scores because the first time I took it I took all the practice tests. I do have crack tests tho:
Crack Scores:
1) 20
2) 20
3) 21
4) 19
5) 20
6) 20
7) 21

9) 23
10) 20
I will be leaving to Europe in 2 days so no PM's after sunday please thanks...
