DAT Done Hopefully? Do you think I need to retake? I will post more in a little while. I didn't realize the time in the Quantitative and did not end up answering the last 10 questions. Do I have a chance to any dental school? If so which one? I am not a minority.

Not bad science scores and RC is good as well, however, the PAT/QR scores are low. One low score, maybe in QR, maybe not so much of a problem. However, with two low scores, especially one being PAT, then I believe you will need to retake.

However, if you have already submitted your apps, GPA's and EC's are good and secondaries have been flowing in then, riding out the storm may not be such a bad idea.

Learn it, Live it, Love it

heyy how was Biology? how did you study for it? and PAT.. how did you prepare yourself for this?
PAT is kinda low.. i don't know if you should retake.. you might not have to if your GPA is high. i guess let other SDNers answer this question.

Call schools up IMO you're PAT may be a problem, other than that good job

I would retake. I have talked to multiple schools and all advised me to retake if I wanted to make my self competitive. A got a 16 PAT the first time and its no where close to the avg. of my number one school.

Realistically, retaking would probably be a good idea. I've talked to a lot of dental students and admissions officers and they say many schools require a minimum around 16 (+/- 1). The good news is that your sciences seem to be good already, so just work on the PAT and developing your speed in the QR section. Good luck with everything.
