Ive been anxiously been waiting to post this up for a while now 😎

PAT 21 89.2%
QR 16 65.3%
RC 21 88.9
Bio 19 83.5%
GC 23 97.3%
OC 25 98.4%
TS 21 96.2%
AA 21 97.2%

So I was extremely nervous and anxious the night before the test and didn't get any sleep at all. Went in there expecting the worst, came out very proud of myself.
So I was almost done with the test, and the power of Prometric's test center went out with 10 mins to go in the QR section. All of the ppl there were told to wait outside(for 45 mins) and maybe, just maybe, we would be able to resume our test's.(Luckily everything worked out, and i was able to finish the test. But the nervousness that the power outage caused me, kinda made me screw up on the QR.

Just want some opinions while im at this. My dream school's are USC and UCLA. I have a 3.7 oGPA, and a 3.4 sGPA. What do u think my chances are?

congrats! Im not an admission officer, but with your DAT and GPA I would say you have decent chances at USC and UCLA. Did you take any mock exams? if so can you post your scores? 🙂

The only mock exams that i took were the topscore exams

AA/Bio/gchem/ochem/PAT/QR/RC/TS
TS🙁donnt have exact ones for this) 18/17/17/18/20/15/21/17
TS2: 19/19/18/18/21/16/22/19
TS3: 20/19/19/20/20/20/20/20

What did you use to prep?
Was the topscore easier or harder than the DAT?

I found Topscore science way harder than the DAT. The actual DAT is much more of a basic and broad test over your scientific knowledge.
The PAT was way too easy on topscore, i found the real DAT to be right on par with Crack the PAT.
Reading comp on topscore is exactly the same as the real DAT, except that topscore does not have the inference and authors tone questions like the real test had.
Topscore math was way too easy, and Math destroyer is slightly harder, so if u got that down ull be ready.

As for studying material go, here's my 2 cents.
For Bio i only used Cliffs AP bio to prep, read it twice, but no matter how much you study, you will never fully be prepared for the bio section because of how random it is.

For gchem, all i have to say is that Chad is gd. Study his videos religiously and take your own notes along with him. The gchem on the DAT was a lot more conceptual than actual calculations, so just make sure not to look over your basics as well.

For ochem i didn't really study because i just finished my ochem class in june. but i found the destroyer to be a great review, and the road maps are gold.

PAT: GET CRACK THE PAT. This section is all about practice and timing. Find techniques that work for u and stick with them until you are scores 20+ on their tests.

RC: All i did for this was take the topscore diags, pick a technique that works for you and just practice(this section is all about timing as well). I used search and destroy, but i would only recommend that if it is working for you.

For QR just buy the math destroyer and make sure you know how to do all the questions. This section was tough, and there was def not enough time with all the world problems.

I took the Kaplan course, and all i have to say is that it is garbage, never opened the book again after the course meeting's were over.

This test is all about confidence, don't let it scare you. Be prepared, feel prepared, and go in there and kill it!
