OK so first of all wannna thank all youll for scaring me half to death with all your posts.

Man i dont know what happened with the QR.... got around to it and just had a brain fart... I know QR is the least important but was worried that some schools would have a grade cutoff.. Do some schools have grade cutoffs???

Called some schools and they basically told me that the PAT, TS, and AA was what they mainly look at..... but still 14 is really really low...

I go to baylor university.. have a 3.7 GPA overall and about a 3.65 Science. I really really wanna go to baylor dent in dallas.... my hometown.... have little hours... nothing too crazy..what you think my chances are??? Should i retake it b/c of my QR???

If you guys have any questions about how i studied or anything ill be happy to reply in a timely fashion. I vowed to never come to this site after i was done... but i feel like i need to pay it forward.

congrat. great scores.If you have upper level courses. you are not going to have any problem getting to Baylor.

From what I've been seeing from other sdn'ers posts, pretty much EVERYBODY has one low score!! And it seems for most people that's QR (I'm sure I will be in the same boat.. haha). So I wouldn't sweat it. All of your other scores are bangin! 😎

Great scores! QR won't hurt your too much in the eyes of the ADCOM's. You'll be in! Just gotta nail those interviews now!

hello... so sorry for replying so late... i have just been enjoying gaining weight..and being lazy.

so here is the complete breakdown....

I studied with Kaplan Blue Book, Achiever, Topscore, and Destroyer... along with alot of college textbooks. (don't be a cheap ass and just get the destroyer... its very helpful). Studied for about 2 months and a week in total..... some days I got so much stuff done... but others days hardly anything...
Started off with the kaplan blue book.. get a general idea... then on to the destroyer... started taking tests on achiever and topscore about 2 weeks left to go... i recommend start taking Achiever and TPSCORE about 1 month before.... review the living crap out of them.


here are my topscore and achiever tests.... (in the order i took them) left to right, top to bottom.

Soooo... how do achiever and topscore match up with the real test??... THE GOLDEN QUESTION. Let me try to break it down for youll while giving my breakdown of each section below.

BIO: BIO is BIO.... just gotta know it... My most stable subject... review the DESTROYER on bio... know words.. make a list.. memorize memorize memorize.
TOP and ACHIEVER are both pretty accurate to the real thing.
The real test was alot more conceptual though... it still had a bunch of give mes.... but some of the harder questions were not necessarily out of left field..
but more in depth conceptual= meaning that if you knew the concept well enough you can reason yourself to the right answer.
SO i recommend gain an understanding rather then just memorizing words highlighted. But if you wanna get a 30; do both... be my guest.
DESTROYER along with every resource in the world is necessary for this section. WIkipedia was my best friend.

GC: like everyone else said already.... not that many crazy calc problems. alot of conceptual..... TOPSCORE AND Achiever were harder then the real thing..
THIS next to QR was my main worry... im just bad at those calculation problems i guess... but i did know those concept questions... which saved my life.
So if your like me and just suck at GC ... stick in there ..dont get mad...its easier then the practice tests.
DISCLAIMER!!!!: don't get cocky and lazy though and not study for this section... it's by no means EASY>
Destroyer really good for this section.

OC:
This was my bread and butter.... thought i 100% after i got done with the section but i guess i made some mistakes...
basic... know your rxns.. your properties.... pretty accurate to topscore and achiever i thought... maybe a lil easier.
Destroyer is a lil overkill... but being overprepared never hurt anyone. ACE this section you should be able to do it.. with a good amount of work.


PA:
Achiever is tooooo hard on this section... and topscore is too easy.

just calm down on this section. if you find yourself lookin at the time alot STOPPPP>>> your shooting yourself in the foot. angles were damn hard... everything else was in between topscore and achiever.
HINT: cubes are def the easiest.... but take your time on them. You should 100% cubes. so dont try to rush through them toooooo fast and make a mistake.

Dont really know how to study for this section... just know the basic tricks.. which im sure, if your reading this you already know.

RC: i thought the real test RC was actually harder then achiever or topscore... but somehow i ended up doing wayyyy better on the reat thing..ODD... i know.
I practiced using the search and destroy method... but it seems like they make the real test to deter ppl from using this method.... alot of the questions are def not that obvious... Just eliminate answers and think logically and i think majority of ppl should be fine though.

I dont know what tips to give youll on this section.. I have always been a good reader... so i didnt really prepare for this section at all.
Dont wanna scare ppl.. but dont expect the answers to be so obvious like most of the answers are in topscore and achiever.


QR: gonna leave this part blank... i suck ... im a idiot.... did i mention i suck.


OVERALL: relax.... whenever your stressed you aint retaining that much.

have CONFIDENCE... even though you might not have the highest GPA or you scored really really bad on that practice test... REBOUND!!! Dont get frustrated. I think i logged in more hours worrying about this test then actually studying for it...
you can score high on this test.. it is doable... just look in the mirror and say "Im a Mutherf***** genius" everytime you wake up. and again on tuesdays and thursdays.

TEST TAKING TIP: this might not work for some ppl... but i was really nervous about the "NERVOUS and PANIC FACTOR " affecting my test taking.. so on test day i lied to myself...
convinced myself that
"i could always take it again next year...its no biggie!!"

i know this seems contradictory to the my confidence rant... but im only human and i had to compromise..

middle road is the best road.
