DAT done today 7/26
PAT 24
Biology 19
Chem 22
OChem 23
Reading 17
QR 21
Overall 20/21/24
Bio: it was SO RANDOM! I want to say use your DAT study time wisely! DO not overspend your valuable studying on just bio If you know all the basic stuff, you will get like 19.. like me
I got lots of questions on lab related stuff and some definition questions, which i never seen in cliff & destroyer & Kaplan
(Used destroyer, KBB, APBIO)
Chem: it is straightforward but you need to understand each gchem topic, dont just memorize it(there is a big difference between memorizing and understanding)! specially on the Acid & Base. I think i got like 4-5 questions on acid and base topic and non of them were calculations.(Used destoryer, KBB, AP chem book)
Ochem: Also, straightforward.. Unlike gchem,i think its ok to memorize materials
not many rxn problems I think like 7-8 were RXNs. know RXNS involving alkenes!!! ex) addition, elimination etc
know purpose of different types of lab techniques
(used destoryer, KBB, CHADs video)
QR: OMG there was a question asking how many cubes were fit in the bigger box and there was NO ANSWER...
My answer came out like 48.12 but there was no choice of 48
I spend like 5min to solve this problem and still couldnt answer.. so I just guessed.. I calculated volume of bigger box and divided by smaller cubes...
QR was easy, it was all basic stuff (just focus on time management and you will be fine) I expected higher than 21,,, 🙁
Reading: I got like 24 paragraph passage on ethics.......
I think I guess like 10..
English is my second language. I wish I was born in the US 🙂
PAT I did first 3 Crack PAT and got 23, 23, 23 and scored 24 on the real PAT. very similar to CrackPAT
I want to report a QR question to ADA and want to see if they raise my QR score or not,,
(to where should i send an e-mail or make a phone call???)
I graduated with BS 3.1 GPA, worked in lab for 1 and half years, have 350 shadow hr
I really want to get into the dental school but my gpa is somewhat low compare to other ppl 🙁🙁
anyways good luck on Studying!
