Just took my DAT

Studied a little more than one month bout 7~8hrs a day excluding Saturdays

PAT : first studied with CDP (average 23) and then bootcamp (average 22). CDP was much easier than bootcamp so after I got the hang of it with CDP, went on to bootcamp. Took one test each day. At first, it was hard even finishing the entire test and quit a lot in the middle of the test cuz of my temper (got mad at myself :O) but tried to finish it and found myself able to finish them with enough time 😀

QR: Watched Chad's videos once and solved Math Destroyer tests 1-10. I hate math and I haven't taken a proper math class since high school. Thought the actual DAT was much easier than the destroyer but destroyer lets you get the hang of it

RC: I'm always ok with reading and did well in SAT reading so took like 3 tests in bootcamp and got about 21 average with those. The actual DAT was much easier with only like a few true/false questions and most search and destroy

Bio: Read ferralis notes 3 times and solved destroyer + bootcamp tests (average 22) + qvault tests (average 20). The test had some weird questions that I never saw before and was pretty mad because I really put a lot of effort into Bio. Saw like 3 questions from destroyer but the rest was not similar to what I studied... 🙁 I'm personally really upset for this section cuz I thought I was strongest in Bio

GC: Watched Chad videos and took quizzes + solved destroyer q's + bootcamp (average 23) + qvault (average 23). The actual test was much more basic than destroyer or the bootcamp/qvault.

OC: Watched Chad videos and took quizzes + solved destroyer q's + bootcamp (average 22) + qvault (average 23). Sad about this section's scores... Didn't know really basic stuff and got them wrong. I think i focused on too much on complicated reactions but the test only had really basic stuff... Just know them really well. I memorized all those NMR and IR for nothing :'(

Oh and I took the DAT in Guam, so the time difference is about a day, hence the 7/27
Good luck everyone 😀

I guess I am the first one to be checking your post! I am glad you did super well. Your hard work indeed paid off. I am sitting here in front of my laptop and it's 1:17am watching some Craig Savage Bio channel! Thank you for the post. It really calmed me down seeing your scores. I will be taking it soon!

Forgot to ask you. What kind of method did you use when answering the PAT's Top Front End. I am having a difficulty with those. Was there a chance of using the line counting method or they made it line counting proof?

Your welcome 😀
For PAT, I used counting method for CDP but got to bootcamp and saw that counting didnt work with those questions,
So I just solved the tests for bootcamp and looked at the solutions really carefully and began to be able see them in 3-d after taking a few tests
The real DAT TFE was much easier with a lot of simpler TFE's with only a couple that were like bootcamp
So... really just practice makes it work 🙁 ... im sure if you solve all the bootcamp you'll be ok

Congrats on the awesome scores. The more I see scores like theses, the more I feel it's doable. Some how I feel some positive energy coming from Guam 🙂
Thanks and good luck on the application process.
