Hi guys... I just got off from the testing center and I'm freally frustrated because of my RC score.

This was my second attempt and I'll write my first dat score in left column and today's scores on the right.

11/09 07/10
Bio - 16 -----> 24 (98.7)
GC - 20 -----> 23 (95.0)
OC - 19 -----> 22 (91.5)
PAT - 20 -----> 20 (85.4)
RC - 20 -----> 16 (18.5) GOT PIANOED !!!!! 🙁
QR - 17 -----> 20 (89.3)
TS - 18 -----> 23 (98.2)
AA - 18 -----> 21 (93.0)

Since I'm at the airport, I'll post detailed breakdown if anyone is interested.

I know I might have to re-take because of my RC score.....

But as you can see, I did got 20 last time and I received As in my undergraduate English courses.

My cGPA is 3.73, sGPA is 3.65 and non-science GPA 4.00

I'm Canadian so I really want to get into ANY dental school, really don't care.

What do you guys think? Soooooooo depressed right now.

Don't know what to say...really want to cry...

i hope you're kidding lolol, those are GREAT scores, screw the RC, with your gpa and previous RC of 20 i think you should be SET. great job 👍

he's more concerned because he's Canadian, so it'll be harder for him to get into a US dental school.

I don't understand why you Canadians applying to US. I am fine with it as long as you don't take my spot.

I'm assuming international students compete against international students. Sort of like how an OOS applicant competes against an OOS applicant for a state school. It's really tough for internationals considering they are probably lumped in with tons of other competitive internationals fighting for those few spots. Therefore the need 4 super high gpa 3.7+ and dat 21+.

not true. private schools don't discriminate like that. there are some schools we can't apply to though forsure..and others that accept canadians but make it extremely difficult for us to have all the proper documentation and criteria. the big private schools (eastern seaboard) accept plenty of canadians
