Hey all, I'm new to this forum but I've been reading posts here for the past couple of months. Lots of great advice on this forum. I just finished taking the exam and here's my breakdown...
PA 21
QR 17 😕 what an eye sore
RC 20
BIO 24
GC 20
OC 21
TS 22
AA 20
My cumulative GPA is 3.87, sci 3.75...good recs, lots of clinical experience, etc. I've been out of school for a year, and just recently decided to go dental. I'm wondering if I have a shot at Columbia, UPenn??? My reach is Columbia but I don't know if I even have a shot. Should I even consider retaking??
Bio -- pretty straightforward, some random questions, but overall not as bad as I thought. I was getting 19s on topscore, 16-17 on achiever.
GC/OC -- some calculations, but overall pretty basic and comparable to kaplan. same, 19s on TS, 17 achiever.
PAT -- surprised, I was doing so well on practice tests but didnt do as well on the actual test. TS I was getting 22-25, achiever, 19-20.
RC -- like a lot of people here have said, TS and achiever are way too easy for practice. The actual has more tone oriented questions that aren't so direct.
QR just sucked...
Overall I used Kaplan, Topscore, Achiever, and old chem/orgo notes and WIKI was a good source too. I would say Topscore is comparable, Achiever is wayy harder than the actual, Kaplan is good for orgo and chem.
Feedback would be much appreciated! PS good luck to all of you who are still studying...as long as you're not nervous and don't freak out you'll be good to go. Keep your head up 🙂
