Feels so good to be done!! Thanks to all those who helped answering randoming questions and posting their breakdowns.
7/6/10
PAT 23 (96.4)
QR 21 (96.4)
RC 21 (76.7)
Bio 24 (98.9)
GC 20 (79.8) 🙁
OC 21 (85.7)
TS 21 (91.6)
AA 21 (93.4)

So, like everyone said, it definitely wasn't as hard as all the practice tests. I am happy with me scores, but wish I would have done a little better on Gen Chem. The sources I used were Destroyer 2010, TopScore, Kaplan 2006 (the white book), Crack package: PAT, QR, Reading, Sciences (definitely overkill and I don't think it improved my science score AT ALL)

Bio: There were random questions, but I could sort them out. Be familiar with experiemental based questions. I think I maybe got one or two taxonomy question, and one super easy plant questions.

GC: I don't really know what to say, I feel like these sections flew by (not in the sense that I did them quickly, but I really just can't remember them), only one or two questions actually required calcs, a few questions where it was set up the equation and the rest mostly conceptual (which I'm more of a numbers person, so maybe thats where I wasn't as strong)

OC: not bad, not very many reaction questions, of the reactions they were all easy. Nothing that wasn't on the Destroyer road maps. I fel like I did much better in this section, but apparently I missed afew.

RC: Wasn't too bad. I didn't get "piano'd". This was my most feared section by far. I took a CDR test last night and got 16 so I was especially worried. I don't think it was luck that played a role in the actualy test, I just think I was doing a much better job of reading faster and better scanning. I did a search and destroy/write down one or two key words from each paragraph strategy.

PAT: Like everyone says, CDP is where it's at. My highest on a CDP test was a 22, so I am happy with my 23. The last few of my pattern folding I ran out of time and just put C, so who knows what I could have got if I was a little faster.

QR: Was shockingly easy. I am actually surprised I didn't score higher. There were probably 4 that I did guess on, but other than that I answered every question, had no time issue and felt confident about my answers. The calculator was very helpful, althought make sure to watch what you type in. A lot of times when you hit the same number a few times (like two 0's for 100) it won't register all the times you hit it, so watch out for that!!

So what do you guys think?? I really hope I get in somewhere. I applied in 2007 right after I graduated from undergrad and didn't get in (2006 DAT Scores: 19 on every section and 17 on RC). Then I worked for two years as an engineer (I was a Civil Engineering major), and went back to school this past fall. As a Bio post-bacc I've earned a 4.0 every quarter, I volunteered as an orthodontic assistant, and am working on dental research. I also have been accepted into a MS Bio program that I will finish next year (my classes from this year are counting towards my credits). Plus I have quit a bit of shadowing/working in dental offices from my undergrad days. I am worried though, because even with my GPA from this past year, my old undergrad GPA is still bringing me down.

GPA's: Non Sci 3.47
BCP is a 3.3
Science 3.16 (This is the bulk of my undergrad GPA and consists of all my engineering classes, probably at least 200 units worth, so literally impossible to bring up much)

Anyways, I hope this helps. What do you think my chances are? I'm a CA resident, applying to all the CA schools (my dream school is UoP) and then all over the country: BU, Tufts, UNLV, NYU, Columbia, UPenn, pretty much everywhere that excepts out of state students...
Advice is greatly appreciated 🙂

Awesome job! That's so weird to see some 20+ scores under 80th percentile, but that doesn't matter.

Relax and prepare for interviews.
