ADA 2007 practice test: AA 22, TS 22, B 19, GC 25, OC 23, QR 25, RC 18, PAT 22
Kaplan class: I highly recommend it. The actual class is ehhh, but it keeps you on track and the online resources are phenomenal. I thought the bio section was too specific compared to the real dat. As for gchem the math was a lot more complex on kaplan, but the concepts and ideas were of the same difficulty. I think ochem and math section are very comparable to the real dat. The reading section was harder than the real dat, the readings were longer than I expected, but the answers were easier to find. As mentioned in many previous posts, the angles on kaplan are a joke and the whole PAT section in general is easier than the real dat.
Topscore: All the science sections (bio, gchem, and ochem) are harder than the real dat, way too specific and they ask a lot of questions on topics that I say are not as likely to show up on the real test. Math was comparable to the real dat. Reading resembled kaplan, harder than real dat. PAT was easier than the real dat. I would also still recommend topscore because the science sections give you a good scare to study harder.
Crack dat/pat: The angles are more realistic of the real dat. The illusions they have for the cube counting are not as common on the real dat and neither are the two hole punches, but half punches are quite common. I also recommend crack dat/pat as good practice, since we really do not learn PAT in any class at school.
Even though most people on sdn seem to say that the ada 2007 practice test is not a good indication of your future performance on the real dat, I have to disagree. I think the scores seem relatively consistent except for the RC section.
I also used the Barron's book, which is completely worthless. So many errors in the study guide sections and in the practice tests. The practice tests were very not realistic, I finished very early in all the sections except for reading (I read slow). I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE BARRON'S BOOK.
As an overall guide, towards the end I would only study the science sections, since they are mostly memorization and if you do not know the math, reading or PAT, by that time, you just aren't gonna get it. I would study gchem and ochem first and save bio for last, since bio is basically all memorization, while gchem and ochem are not.
Hope this helps!
