Well I just got back from the testing center and here is my breakdown.
PAT 21
QR 19
RC 20
Bio 23
GC 25
OC 28
TS 25😀😀
AA 23😀😀
Bio: Destroyer and Cliffs. I didn't think this section was as random as some people say it is. Many questions were very basic and straightforward. I spent the most time on this section which payed off.
Chem: Chads and Destroyer. I'm a chemistry major so this section was never hard for me. If you use both Chads and Destroyer you should be able to get in the 20's.
OChem: Destroyer I just finished taking OChem 1 and 2 this last year. I honestly didn't study for this section. I went through destroyer once for this section, but I love OChem.
PAT: CrackPAT. I averaged right around what I was ranging on CDP. I started out really low around a 16 and slowly got better. The best advice is to practice as much as you can. The actual PAT was very very similar to CDP.
RC: Crack the Reading. If I can get a 20 then everyone can. RC has always been my worst section on standardized testing. The three passages were interesting which helped me. Very similar to crack the reading in types of questions and passage length. I never hit a 20 on CRR.
QR: Crack the Math, Math Destroyer. I honestly don't know what happened here. I went through destroyer two times and thought I knew how to do each question, guess not.
Overall, if I can get these scores anyone can. Just have faith in yourself. I started studying June 1st. I couldn't really put much time into studying until I finished my summer classes. I studied hard for three weeks around eight-ten hours a day.
The only practice tests I used was TopScore and the KBB. The actual test was very similar to both I thought.
What do you think my chances are?
Sgpa: 3.75
Ogpa: 3.85
Also to anyone out there who is thinking about taking the DAT after there sophomore year, I would highly encourage it. I will be a junior this year and had finished all of the prerequisites for the DAT so I decided to take it early.
