Took the dat and made these scores...
18 Bio
20 gen chem
20 organic
21 pat
19 rc
17 qr
Biology: I memorized cliffs notes and kbb front to back and only got one damn question from both. Im very good at bio and have never made less than an A in all my classes including biochem. My advice is to spend only 1 hour or less a day while preparing for the DAT
Gen chem: know how to work every formula. A lot of the questions I had did not have the exact calculation but had you choose the formula to solve it. The ADA sample test is very similar to the real DAT. DAT destroyer is awesome for helping learn gen chem.
Organic: I know I nailed every reaction, however there were about 5 questions asking ab lab exps such as distillation and other stuff I "skimmed" over. DAT Destroyer is the best study guide for Organic.
PAT: Crack DAT PAT enough said....
RC: Search and destroy. Only did one topscore practice test of RC. I shouldve made higher but I'll take 19.
QR: DAT destroyer and KBB are key. Their were a few questions I wasnt sure how to solve but I didnt spend much time studying this section anyways.
I have an overall GPA of 3.6 as well as a Science GPA of 3.6. I've made a 4.0 every semester except 2 (somphmore year living in frat house and social life > academics). Just curious what yall think ab my chances. Im an arkansas resident so we razorbacks have some reserved spots. Im applying to UMKC, Memphis, LSU, Louisville, Florida, and Oklahoma. Btw I have over 300 hours of working as a dental assistant and 100 hours of shadowing.
