FINALLY. I studied pretty hard (5 weeks?) for this test and was pretty pleased with the results. This was a retake, I sucked it up the first time I took this exam. I am applying this cycle and submitted my AADSAS last month, wish me luck.

Breakdown:
Bio: Really random, no joke. The questions were less in depth but there were some really confusing questions, one had a diagram that I had no idea how to do it. The first 10 were random the next 30 I felt more confident on. Enough physiology was on it too. I used Destroyer and Kaplan BB.

GC: I was good at this section to begin with so I studied for this section the least. Alot of the questions you don't have to estimate the answers like you have to do in Achiever and Topscore... they will put them in the format of the equation rather than one single numerical answer. Destroyer is more than enough preparation for this section. Also I memorized this GCHEM section in the Kaplan BB.

OC: I sucked terribly at this section on the last test. I hate organic chemistry. But I worked really hard in Destroyer and all my Topscore/Destroyer exams. I went through Destroyer OCHEM at least 3 times.

QR: I knew this section was going to be hard. I tried my best to skip the questions that were too wordy and goto questions where I could quickly get the answers. I do not know how people can do well in this section and have time to study for other parts of this test. I consider myself good at math too.. I got a 780 on my MATH SAT back in high school. So yeah.. be ready. I read somewhere QR scores were really low these past couple months, who knows. Destroyer probably helps alot but I just relied on my Math ability, or lack thereof... I hope this doesn't affect my application too much

RC: Practice, practice, practice. Learn to read anything and everything even if it is not interesting at all. I am terrible at reading but somehow got through this with search and destroy. I had some article about hormones, cognitive learning, and I dont remember the other one. I was really lucky I got easy articles otherwise I would have panicked. STAY CALM and answer as many questions as you can. Inference passages actually were easier than I thought.. then again I have used MCAT verbal as practice but I felt like that was excessive and unnecessary.

PAT: OH MY. Thank goodness. I was getting 17's in CDP(10 test package) when I first started last month. I was annoyed. I was good at keyholes and TFE(use SICK PAT tutorial) but was lackin in other sections. One day it just clicked. I was hitting higher scores across the board except for angles. Angles I used CDP and selected randomize 10 minute tests and did 4 a day. This helped alot. Towards the end I was scoring as high as 23 on CDP. All that from just a 17. For hole punching draw a 4x4 square. I always did this in my head and sucked at it till I saw this method, it was a life saver. I went through CDP 5-10 at least twice. 1-4 only once each.
UPDATE: Here is how I used CDP and what kind of scores I was getting.

17 (July 18th) CDP #10
17 (July 20th) CDP #9
18 (July 21st) CDP #8
18 (July 23rd) CDP #7
At this point I reviewed test 7-10 in the sections I really sucked at (ie scoring below 80%.. angles I was getting 50%)
20 (July 28th) CDP #6
18 (July 30th) CDP #4
19 (August 1st) CDP #3
I was getting pretty frustrated up to this point because my scores were never really breaking 20. But I turned a corner and stuck to what was working before.
23 (August 2nd) CDP #10
21 (August 3rd) CDP #9
21 (August 4th) CDP#8
22 (August 7th) CDP #7
August 8th and 9th I did four-five sets of 10 minute angle ranking CDP tests that were randomized. So 10 total tests in two days just angle ranking.
23 (August 9th) CDP #6
25 (August 10th) CDP #5 * This was the test that gave me confidence in PAT. I had never done CDP 5 and I did really well... especially on angles.
23 (August 11th) CDP #1

As you can see I got better the closer I got to the exam. I took that momentum into the test.

Overall I would read Kaplan BB and supplement BIO with AP Cliffs. Try to do a CDP exam every 2 days, and REVIEW what you missed. Review more in the sub-sections you are weak. The perceptual exams in Topscore and Destroyer I felt were useless(either too hard or too easy). When I took full practice tests(topscore/achiever) I would just do a CDP exam. I feel consistency in this section is necessary to get confident. Destroyer destroyer destroyer. Go through each section as many times as you can. Try to do it as many times as you can. Roadmaps for OCHEM were a HUGE help. Overall I am so very happy about my scores. If anybody has any questions, holler. This forum offers alot of help but use it wisely. You know how good you are at certain things.. you also know how weak you are in others.. Focus on your weaknesses and you will be better overall.

Oh yeah a side note. My topscores and destroyer scores were all sub 20 with the exception of perceptual ability and reading. I think the highest I got on topscore was 19 in ochem with 17 and 18 in bio/chem. DO NOT LET THESE TESTS GET YOU DOWN. Know your information. Achiever was way hard too but I think there is a new one out.

very nice job. What percentage of math were word problems on QR? Because I hate word problems.😎

About 40%. I would go as far as to say more. Know problems in destroyer relating to simple interest, if you gain $700 from investing in 2 accounts at different interest %'s because that problem showed up. Some word problems were easy others were just too wordy and threw too much at me so I skipped it.

Thanks for the break down 👍 great scores.

I am also getting around around 20s in the Top score and achiever----aaarrghhh at first i thought that should be ok--I dont want much --even a 19 in math would be ok---but looks like the aciever and top score math are both easier than the real thing.

🙁

Awesome job on the PAT man. We had the same version. I freaking choked on the bio :bang:. I feel like it could have been smashed. I still don't know how to do that diagram. Spent a while on it too.

Overall, great scores. Congrats
