Ok here goes. I have been reading through this forum this past summer these are my scores.
PAT 20 (88.1)
QR 16 (52.3)
RC 17 (26.3)
Bio 18 (65.1)
GC 19 (72.4)
OC 22 (90.9)
TS 19 (76.7)
AA 18 (63.2)
Stuff I used DAT Achiever, Bio Schaums, Cliffs, Kaplan Subject Tests, Top Score, and SAT Math, AP Chemistry Barron.
Bio- F***ing hard thats all I can tell you, there are about 10 questions I have never seen, in bio classes, books, I just dont know what to say. They have geared the bio section for people with Masters or PhD and people who have taken upper level science classes.
Chemistry- Easy just study you will do well. Acheiver was pretty much it was expecting more. But I had a panic attack during this section I think thats was the reason.
OC- It was pretty easy, just study reactions, and theory thats all I can tell you. DAT Achiever is very similar to the real thing.
RC- I got stuck in the 1st passage it was just so long 18 paragraphs and too many details. Don't know what to tell you I got 20s on all the practice exams.
QR- I just didnt care I was so burnt out cuz i only slept 5 hours the night before. I got 20s on all the practice exams. I have a 760 SAT Math,800 Math IC, 800 Math IIC. Two A's in math at school. So its really not about knowledge or know how to do it but having the energy to do it.
DAT destroyer is very good in terms of questioning. Know I am going to critique DAT destroyer and I dont want people jumping on me, I know there are some true loyal DAT Destroyer fans on this forum. OC excellent, Bio I believe they need to update to the changing DAT bio section, GC more conceptual less math problems in terms of complexity. The GC math is very easy I bet most high school students can answer them.
Pat- very easy did top score, achiever, crack the pat, and kaplan. It all about practice but the PAT seemed very easy.
I have already applied to dental school, NYU, UMDNJ, BU, and Temple. I hate to say this because even though I have these average score, I am already into Tufts Dental. I am in the seven year dental program with them. There requirement for me was 17 perceptual, 18 Academic Average, and 18 Science. So I am pretty much in, but I am applying out to be close to home i live in nj near the ny metro area and i love nyc. so if i get into nyu i will be very happy. My mom is an alumni at BU so I hope that helps my cousin got into BU with my moms intro so I hope that helps. I am only 19 and I am a sophomore but I came into school with sophomore standing so it will be defintely harder for me. I only have a 3.6 GPA and a 3.53 science GPA so nothing outstanding just average.
Wishing everybody the best of luck, and I benefited from these forums and I hope people in the future share there experience. And Ill be happy to answer questions.
