Took the test today and...
PAT: 22
QR: 22
RC: 21
Bio: 17 🙁
GC: 23
OC: 23
TS: 20
AA: 21
Breakdown:
Bio: half the questions were super easy, the other half...WTF? I had no less than 6 questions asking me whether microfilaments, intermediate filaments, or microtubules were responsible for this or that. I spent most of my time (I'd say 85%) studying for Bio, so I am kind of upset with a 17. I read Cliffs AP Bio 5 times, KBB 4 times, KWB 3 times, Baron's DAT 3 times, Campbell's once.
GC: super easy! I thought I had all of them right, I'm not sure how I got only a 23, haha. Read my textbook 3 times, KBB 3 times, KWB 2 times, Baron's 2 times. Made sure I knew how to do every prob in all of those.
OC: also very easy! thought I had them all right. I barely studied for this, I just got out of my year of OChem...and I'm a chem major.
PAT: everything was comparable to practice tests I had taken, except hole punches were way harder! way way harder!
QR: considerably more difficult than any practice test I had taken! not kidding! know stuff like standard deviation, variance, etc.I didn't study for this either...I am a math minor.
RC: similar to practice tests, but passages were longer! I had one that was 18 paragraphs. My passages were on telomeres, genetic engineering, and aging. boring.
I did not spend a cent of my own money on practice materials for this test. My parents got me the KBB for Christmas. I inherited KWBs and Baron's from a senior pre-dent in our pre-dent at my school. I got Cliff's from my roommate. Doing well in my GC and OC classes made studying for those a lot easier.
I took the KBB book practice test, Kaplan online test with the KBB, both Baron's practice tests, and the ADA 2007 test.
yay its over!
