Here's more:
Bio: Very straight forward! Out of all 40 questions there was probably 6 that I didn't already see some variation of before. All I used to study for Biology was DAT Destroyer+ Practice Tests(Topscore+Kaplan BB+PATDAT.com).
By the way....PATDAT.com is awful don't waste your $60.00
GC: Thank goodness that it had more conceptual questions...I always get so flustered with GC when you have to first convert one thing to another and then plug it into one equation to make it work in another.
😱 That's why I'm so happy to see the score I got!
😀 All my answers had to be solved unlike other testers in the past who said the answers were just the set-up equation.
OC: If you know the road maps in DAT Destroyer you are set!
RC: My three passages in the order of increasing difficulty: Epidemiology< Spinal Cord < Floating Bridges. First two could be done simply with Search and Destroy...Floating bridges required a little more analytical thought process. I finished all three passages with 4.5 minutes to spare. Wish I would have gone back through floating bridges though...I probably could've boosted my score a bit. Don't waste valuable time like I did.
QR: Know your TRIG FUNCTIONS!! Also know total angles inside of a shape with x-many sides. This question was exactly like from Destroyer and I was so frustrated I couldn't recall the simple equation. What is it anyway (n-1)x360? Don't take the math portion for easy. This is coming from someone who got a 18/19/21 on Topscore QR math. I thought I had this portion in the bag...I obviously was wrong!
So do you guys think I have a chance of getting in anywhere with my scores and GPA? I really would like UF or NOVA. Also applying to UMKC, NC, and NYU.
