Edit: 7/3/2011
So this was my third time taking it, I got a 19 the first two times
PAT 17
Bio 22
Chem 22
Ochem 18
Reading 25
Quantitative 21
TS 20
AA 22
I thought the reading passage questions were worded very strangely, I had at least 12 questions asking the same thing but with different parts of the passage. I wont go into specifics bc it could violate the disclosure rules. Same thing happened with bio where I had repeat questions over the same concept. Math is incredibly easy now with a calculator! I got a 16 last time because I ran out of time, this time I had like 20 mins to spare(Did not prepare in math much). PAT was close to impossible, I had to guess on every other one it felt like, esp angles. I prepared for this but Im afraid that part of my brain is missing. Hole punching had a lot of unorthodox folding but pattern fold up was easier than my kaplan tests. And my stupid markers kept running out, they were giving me the same markers in rotation lol
Preparation: Used kaplans online on demand course, which i found quite useful for the practice tests and the quick and easily accessible answers/explanations afterward(Top score pro's interface sucks!). Now, whether that alone is worth 1100 dollars is arguable since I did not find the practice quizzes, workshops, or online videos particularly useful. But you do get about 8 full length tests, 5 full natural science sections and 5 full isolated sections of each subject.
Also dabbled in DAT destroyer but found many of the questions unnecessarily difficult to the point where I knew they wouldn't turn up on the test. Week or two before got Top score and made 19's 20's reaffirming the theory that you get about 2 points higher on the real thing from topscore.
Thoughts? Chances? my gpa is about a 3.45
