Just finished and here are my scores:

AA: 19
Total Science: 18
Biology 18
General Chem: 17
Organic Chem: 19
QR: 19
Reading: 20
PAT: 18

Overall GPA: 3.4
Overal Sci: 3.3
Over 300 hours shadowing dentists, over 250 working as dental assistant, president of university pre dental society, national intel science talent search semi finalist
Applications were sent in June 4th, first day it opened so they are just waiting for my scores. I applied to NYU, BU, Tufts, Maryland, UNC, USC, Temple, Buffalo, UConn, UMDNJ, Penn, Illinois

I am OK with the 19 but the PAT I was scoring 20s I am disappointed. When I got to the last question on natural sciences, my computer shut down and I lost about 6 min so going into PAT I was all frazzled. Plus my stupid whiteboard pens were erasing all my marks for cube counting lol!! Biology I was getting 20's but today was soooo out there, stuff that was just so random. What do you guys think? I am just upset with my PAT because I was doing so much better.

Anyways, I just wanted to thank everyone who was so great on this forum with answering test questions etc. I really appreciate it. Good luck to everyone who is still studying!

Yeah its a tough call. You are right on the borderline. Your EC's are good, but as you know some schools have to make some drastic cuts and decisions and usually GPA/DAT play in this area first before personal statement and your dental experience.

You have already paid the fees for the primary, if I were you I would go for it and hope for the best.

remember that school averages accept some above and below the mean. You applied early, so that's an advantage, and you have good extracurrics.

I think you have a good shot. Especially for NYU and Tufts- just kill the interviews and I think you'll be fine.

I have almost the exact same stats. The only thing that worries me is my low QR score (15 🙁). I was very upset with my PAT because I actually thought it was pretty easy on the test and would be my best section but I guess I was wrong. Must have been the angles. After doing some research on last years stats on predents, I think we have a good shot since we both applied early and have some private schools on our lists. I wish you the best of luck!!:xf:
