Hey guys...SO I took my second DAT today!! Improvement for sure, except math😱. Just was wondering what you guys thought of my chances???

PA 19 -
QR 11😴 -3
RC 21 +3
BIO 17 -
GC 18 +3
OC 19 +2
TS 18 +1
AA 17😕 +1

GPA 3.61

So, I guess you see that I really suck at math🙂 I only had 3 weeks to study hard core between semesters and math layed on the backburner. I applied to 4 schools. Let me know if you think I have a chance🙂

1000+ dental shadow
Radiology tech whos worked in hospital for over 7 years
Major teeth cleaning skills😛

I am in a comp lab so I can't laugh. That was priceless.
But if you kick out that 11, then your scores are actually quite high. So ask on the other forum about your chances and whether these schools don't weigh the QR highly.

Your scores are solid! But that 11 in QR will hurt a lot... I suggest a retake as soon as possible if you're applying this semester. Just do tons of practice problems and you'll raise it dramatically. good luck sir!

Scores are good, but the QR hurts. I don't know how schools will react to one low section, but I'll tell you what if I were an adcom simply seeing a 4 year commitment to the USAF would be enough to give you an invite for an interview. Thank you for serving our country 👍

I am not sure about UF, UIC, and Louisville, but Nova and Indiana I think you have not much chance there. Indiana doesn't want applicants who score less than 18 on RC or who score less than 16 on any other section of the DAT. And for Nova, I don't really know what they are expecting from us, but at least I know there are a lot of people who has higher gpa and dat score than you already got rejected. But who knows, if that's the school you want, you should keep working on them! GL!!

I honestly think you have to retake. Keep the sciences fresh and practice QR and you should be fine.

I think you'll be provided that you served the US for 4 years and that you are mature, I guess, right now ---they like diversity in the schools. Just be aware the cut-off's for every section, ask schools what they think --and then you may add other schools if it's needed.
