Hello, i just got out of my DAT, I just took it again for the 4th and final time. I got an interview and they told me last year that i needed to bump up my bio score from a 16 to at least a 17 or higher.

PERC- 19 19

QUAN- 17 17

READING 18 17

BIO 16 17

Chem 18 18

Orgo 19 19

TS 18 18

AA 18 18

so my question to all of you is how does this look. I am finishing my 2nd year in my masters and the admission lady really likes me. so heres the breakdown.

Bio- really test you on a wide range of questions. used cliffs but the questions were simple, but you had to know what your talking bout. Try to understand the material rather then memorize.

Chem- very straightforward and thought destroyer was overkill. the subject test from kaplan was right on point. just know your basics

Orgo- did destroyer and thougt it helped as well as the roadmaps. I feel that the kaplan book should prepare you well enough, but really thought the acs orgo book helped me the most. A must get

Perceptual- im just good at, but the top front end is hard. i really didnt study too much for it this time but it was very dooable

VR- i thought i killed it , but didnt do as well. search and destry worked for the 1st and 3rd passage, but the second passage it did not and it took too much of my time away

Quant- though was easy, but also screwed me. I though very little word questions and more math, but man were they tricky

Overall, i felt good, but .... im disapointed. I have gotten a 19 before in quant and a 18 in verbal just so you know. Tell me what you guys think ae my chances of getting in. any advice would be great cause im a little down after i was expecting a 19-20.

what schools are you planning to apply to? any state schools? also, its a good thing that you met the bio 17 standard the school set for you. your scores aren't bad, id say its about average.

Honestly? It looks to me like you didn't study any more this time then you had in the past...

What are your other stats? GPA...EC's?
Which schools are you applying to?
When do you finish your masters? How are your grades in that?

btw, i don't want to take this a 4th time but just curious how difficult it was to be allowed to take it? I heard after 3 times was pretty much it without having to go through a bunch of bs for the 4th time....
