PAT: Heads up for those using crack dat pat. Keyholes on the test are much harder. There is more emphasis on size rather than just shape. Also, some look like they are hand drawn (both keyhole and key) which was a surprise, not all are sharp and neat like in CDP. There were also some tough folds (unsymmetrical shapes). I was averaging 24's on my CDP's. Also, find your angle method because they DO work. Mine was skateboard ramp for acute angles and large obtuse angles and "how comfortable it would be to sit on" for angles close to 90 degrees.
QR: Best advice: if you don't know it...mark it and skip it. Time conservation is key. Also, know your trig!
RC: how the hell? I thought this was going to be my worst section. I was actually worried that I might not break 17. Practicing Topscore passages will make you want to use S&D and practicing Achiever will make you want to read carefully first. I consider myself a terrible reader so this was a pleasant surprise. I used the Kaplan method which is basically fast read then S&D. Took me about 8 minutes to read and 12 minutes answering questions for each article.
More advice...I live about 20 minutes away from my test site but still got a hotel room across the street from my test site the night before. Smartest decision I have ever made. Don't stress yourself by sitting in traffic the morning of.
My averages for Topscore were 19-20. Achiever 16-18. I would advise to do topscore last because achiever will KILL your confidence.
Good luck everybody!!! 🙂
