I really want to thank everyone here on SDN for their support/assistance. In return for your help, I will leave you with my breakdown and hope that this might help someone here.
Scores:
Bio- 20 (91.8%)
GC-25 (98.9%)
OC-23 (97.1%)
PAT-19 (69.4%)
TS- 22 (98.3%)
AA-20 (93.4%)
Bio-I am not a Bio major, so I read the whole Campbell textbook and Fundamental of Biochemistry and answered almost every questions in both text and the CD. Also, I have used DAT destroyer on this section (Read, learn, and understand every Biology questions and solutions in the book). These three texts had really helped me to strengthen my Bio background tremendously. I was hitting 25-30 on this section in Topscore, Achiever, and Kaplan. However, this section on the actual DAT was so random and harder than most of the questions I answered before.
Chem-I did not do much to prepare for this section beside reading over my Undergrad Gen Chem notes and practicing and reinforcing the concepts via DAT destroyer. I was a Chem major and had been privately tutoring high school and college chemistry anyway. However, I have to credit Dr. Romano's DAT destroyer. The book was on par with the actual test.
Organic Chem-Again, I have not done many preparation for this section because I was a TA for Orgo in my university beside going over my Organic notes from class and reinforcing my concepts with the DAT destroyer. This book really helped me on this section on the actual test.
PAT-I have only resorted the last two weeks prior to the actual test date to prepare for this section; thus, the scores are not exceptionally well. I have used Crack DAT PAT and Topscore. My opinion: Topscore's Keyholes were much similar to the actual test because it provides a shape with a bend unlike Crack DAT PAT. Overall, both software were good.
Once again, Thank you for help.
