Hey guys,
I'm so glad the DAT is over. I studied for about a month while working and then about 2 weeks straight without working.
Results:
PAT 23 (96.4)
QR 19 (91.2)
RC 19 (52.2)
BIO 20 (88.0)
GC 23 (95.4)
OC 23 (94.4)
TS 22 (95.6)
AA 21 (93.4)
Had PAT 21 TS 19 AA 19 on my first DAT (June 09)
My calculated GPA was around 3.1 if I'm remembering right.
Hopefully I'll make it in this cycle. I still need to submit AADSAS.. need to do that fast.
BIO - Used Cliffs AP Bio and Barron's AP Bio. Not much to discuss here as this section is so random. They did ask a few very specific questions so.. prepare accordingly.
PAT - Didn't spend much time for this section, oh I'd say probably less than 4-5 days max. The first part and the counting cubes were probably the easiest. I ran into some trouble on top, front and end. Thought they were just as difficult, if not harder, as crack dat pat. Angle ranking is very similar to crack dat pat which are very annoying problems. Hole punching, I had quite a few questions with diagonally folded paper so be prepared for those.
QR - Used Math Destroyer and got tired of solving questions stopped on test 5. Seemed much easier than the last year's. A few conversion problems and lots of worded problems. Also a few easy statistics questions. IMHO, I think you should be able to get by without using math destroyer.
GC and OC - used Chad's videos. Just know the basics and you'll be fine.
Reading? haha, I didn't even bother. English is my 2nd language.
Your comments are welcomed.
