Not all schools care for QR.
There is no direct cutoff, but definitely a red flag.

Great job on the other sections

great scores other than QR, I really hope it doesn't hurt your chances too much.. I did pretty bad on my QR too.

Good Job!!!!!

Im afraid of QR too. my last 2 practice tests i have gotten a 16 and 14 before that....

how did you find the whole DAT compared to practice tests?

also, what were you scoring in QR on practice tests?

Good job on the sciences. That QR is really going to hurt. Im not sure how much but its gonna raise some serious issues for you. I would suggest retaking, if you thought that you would do better on the math.

You did "pretty bad" on QR??? Yes 13 is a pretty bad score but I don't consider your getting a 19 a "pretty bad" score. In fact, I think 19 is a good score considering QR is the least important section.

Yeah that was pretty ridiculous. If you are upset with a 19, thats fine, I can understand being upset with a score that is below one's goal, especially if you worked really hard. However, its not cool telling someone who just got a 13 that their 19 is pretty bad.

To the OP: congrats on the nice science and pat scores. Keep your head up about the QR. Hopefully you will land some interviews and make up for the low score during the interview. I'm pretty sure a personable, friendly person will make a better dentist than someone who takes less than 20 seconds to tell you how many combinations of 5 quarters and 4 nickels you can make, and I think the admissions committee would agree with me. Good luck!

👍 Ya.

As I said earlier though, you compensated for it in your other sections.
