Your GPA matches exactly the mean of students matriculating last year for NYU, with your AA being right on average and TS being one below while your PAT is two above. You definitely stand a shot at being admitted.

Good luck!

NYU is one of the easiest schools to get into so I think you have a good shot. They refuse to list the numbered interviewed or matriculation rate for a good reason.

Because they are an outrageously expensive school, most people who receive acceptances from NYU and another school opt to attend the other school due to the enormous savings.

Combine this low matriculation rate with a huge class size of 225+ students, they need to interview and accept a helluva lot of applicants in order to fill their class size.

If you have the money, then it would be fun to live in NYC though.

I'm an international student. Does that make me harder to get accepted even though I have average accepted GPA and DAT?

200k will be good for just over 2 years at NYU.

School has ridiculously high tuition. Combine that with living in NY and it comes up to around 85k/year.

Even as an international application, this is expensive.

NYU and USC aren't many people's first choices, as they are notoriously expensive schools. If you can find 350k in funding, then sure, why not.
