First of all, I'd like to thank everyone in this forum. I just took the DATs, and here are my scores:
PAT 19
RC 16 Ouchhh!!!
QR 20
BIO 19
GC 19
OC 19
TS 19
AA 19
My GPA is slightly below average, GPA-3.45, Sci GPA-3.4
I'm applying to 12 schools. I'm working on my secondary appl. Do I have to retake? I know that schools do weigh heavily on RC. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

i'd schedule a retake and wait the 90...if you don't get any interview invites before then than retake, if you DO get invites than cancel...good luck!

thannks for the inputs guys. To retake i have to wait until the first week of Nov. wouldn't that be too late?

I'm in the same situation, I don't think you should retake, just wait and see if u get any invites, if u dont get any then retake. Thats all you really do. Good luck!

I wouldn't retake. Your scores are pretty consistant, and a 16 isn't THAT bad on the DAT. I would say anthing below that is a definate retake, but 16 shouldn't hurt you that bad. It just looks like you had a bad reading day!

a 16 in RC might be looked down upon at some schools (just being honest) but the rest of your scores are pretty consistent and your GPAs are farily decent. I would call the schools you are applying to and ask them but I think you should be fine.
