So I just got done with my DAT about 30mins ago. my scores are:

PA: 26
QR: 17
RC: 21
BIO:20
GC: 19
OC: 23
TS: 20
AA: 20

completely shocked at my scores. Ochem and reading not really that surprised..pretty disappointed in the GC..ill take the bio..but that 17 QR is beyond me. I have no clue what happened.. I considered QR my strong point actually and was getting through Math Destroyer about 32/40 timed easily..

the 26 for PAT is also. it was fairly straight forward but I did not think I would get anything above a 22..

my OGPA is 3.6, science GPA is 3.5 approximately...what do you guys think?? Does that 26 make up for the lowly 19 17 when it comes to acceptances?

Thanks for your input.

Some people would drag their balls through a mile of broken glass just to get that score. Don't worry bro, it aint bad.
Thanks for replying, and no I know its not bad..i guess I'm just a little hesitant is all, as in like if I applied with it and didn't get in, it wouldn't be much of a surprise you know?

Nice scores. What did you use for PAT?
Hey I used Ari's Bootcamp and CDP for PAT. I would really focus on time management between sections, and TFE. The TFE was not that hard, but it does consume precious time imagining them. the others were easier than the practice tests, in my opinion.

Most schools don't care at all about QR. You have a great gpa and very decent scores esp. that PAT. You're fine. Relax and pat yourself on the back.

I wouldn't say schools don't care at all about QR, but it is definitely less important than TS, RC, and PAT

You did well. You scores are good. You definitely have a chance to be accepted. Prepare for the interview well.

If you happened to not get accepted, it most likely would not be because of your DAT scores. Your scores are good. Congrats on being done with that. Just make sure you have ALL of your bases covered.

Thanks everyone! I guess I wont consider retaking it then, at least for this year. I was absolutely miserable studying for it during the semester..dont want to do it again ever ever lol

There is absolutely no reason for you to retake.

Seriously, if any school didn't accept you because of your QR score, then they've done you a favor. That wouldn't be a school you (or I) would want to attend.

You have a 20/20/26. You're good. However, I'd still be trying to get that sGPA up a bit. It can only help.

I talked to some of the most competitive schools, and they say a 17 on a PAT is something not to worry.

Hey thanks. Yeah I will hopefully try to bring my sgpa up in the last couple semesters along with my overall. I know the average acceptances for DAT and GPAs according to ADEA and whatnot, it is just hard seeing scores on SDN like 24s and 25s and getting myself to believe that my scores are good enough, you know?

Do you mean QR? yeah I hope so, I was just really really surprised that QR would be my lowest score. I seriously went in there thinking that it would be my saving grace for BIO. I guess I'm just glad that the 17 is for QR and not any other section lol. Thanks for letting me know

I believe that the scores you see on SDN are not representative of the average applicant. It's also uncommon to see people post their 18 AA and 19 TS. Generally people only post when they score 20+. Just look at the average accepted score for each school. Your scores are fine
