My GPA is 3.5 ish, and science GPA is 3.25. I am just worrying about my low RC score and science GPA. It seems 17 for RC is most of school's cutoff, though..

Destroyer and textbook were keys to study science and QR, and solidified fundamentals with many practice tests such as Achiever, Topscore, and Kaplan sources.

If have any questions, feel free to ask. 🙂

you make me get jealeous 😛 ... 26 and 29 are super impressive ! No need to worry ! Enjoy what you get !

Just wondering, how did you study the second time around? And, if you don't mind me asking, how were you doing on your Achiever tests? I just want to know where I stand.

Well, I used textbooks to find details for each of destroyer questions. Just know details and practice as much as you can.
Achiever is a good source to study, but not a good source to estimate your actual DAT score. I have never hit 20 on science, mine was usually 18 or 19ish. I think topscore is more precise to estimate your score though. I would recommend you do both of them, if you have enough time, because they are useful sources to practice and strengthen your fundamentals.

wassupdat,

Can you tell us what your strategy for the QR section was? Did you skip the questions you didn't know and then came back to them? Also, how did you score on QR on Achiever?

wow, you are so amazing. i say amazing. how did you do sooo well in the qr, same question, what was your strategy?

Yes, of course I skipped the question that seems to be little challenging. There was no actual strategy for this section, but I would like to introduce ways I used to improve this section.
First, you have to memorize and know all useful equations such as trig., prob., and some algebra stuff. You could find these on solutions and 1st page of Destroyer QR section. Trigometry and Probability are the most important parts in this section assuming you are good at algebra, therefore, you would better find more equations by googling.
Once you feel these are completey in your head, now you move on to practice - Destroyer, Topscore, and maybe Achiever or other sources. Practice is the key to get the good grade in this section, because you are going to be able to apply those equations and moreover know other stuff that Destroyer did not cover such as many conversions and algebra.
Hope this helps.🙂

PS: I did not try QR on Achiver, so I don't have any idea about that. But for topscore I always scored over 25 for this section.

How many probability questions did you get?

Was the destroyer sufficient for probability type questions?

Did the Kaplan Blue Book give you enough foundation for the test?

Sorry to being too late to respond to your question.
Anyways, I think I had just 3-5 probability questions. I dont really remember though..
Most of people think destroyer is not a good source to practice for QR, but it has lots of probability questions that make you to be able to distinguish what probability equation to use, such as Combination(nCr), Permutation(nPr) or nCr*p^n*q^(r-n), etc. Along with the destroyer I would recommend you to practice more and more with other sources.
I did not try Kaplan QR, because it looked way too easy comparing to the actual QR section of DAT.
Hope this helps.
