So I took the DAT for the first time last year in August and scored..I took the kaplan course and relied on it solely and I wasn't happy with my scores at all.

AA-17
TS-17
PAT-17
QR-19
RC-19
BIO-16
GC-15
OC-18

2nd attempt
AA-20
TS-20
PAT-18
QR-19
RC-20
BIO-20
GC-20
OC-21

This time around I used CHAD's BIO, GC, OC, and QR videos, and they were all fantastic. I also used Alan's notes, cliffs ap bio, topscore, free practice exam from kaplan, 2007 sample dat, and the sample OAT. I'm extremely happy with my new scores and just wanted to thank everyone on this forum, I was on it daily reading breakdowns. I felt really confident after finishing the sciences and thought I did even better than what I scored, but i must have made some simple mistakes, I usually do. RC was insane, literally insane, my first passage was extremely dense and had a lot questions like "this statement is false, but this reason is correct, but they are related" , next two passages for science related, but still hard. PAT was ridiculous, I usually always get at least 13/15 right on hole punching but today I know I did not get anywhere close to that. I had like 6 folds on one question, and another that looked like diamond lol. Anyways I'm extremely glad I'm done and really happy with my scores!

Exactly what I was thinking after I finished today too lol.

Nice improvements! Next step, buy a straight baller suit for your interviews. I retook my DAT for the second time today too. We got very similar scores!

Yay! I've been rooting for you 🙂 Now you can just brush your shoulder off and relax! 😎

AA/TS 17/17 --> AA/TS 20/20

Move along people nothing to see here. Just someone who took a below avg AA/TS and converted it to an above avg. Oh wait, not everyone manages to do that! Great job and good luck with the apps!

Hi Guys .....I am so thankful that I am posting it in many threads
I was confused about DAT prep since i am a foreign trained dentist. NYU made it an eligibility for us too.
I found a very good online tutor .....her teaching is very good plus she send assignments to practice every day ....that kept me on track ..
also i m foreign dentist so i did not know what books to follow .....believe me i got no books at all and i did not have to do anything other than the course ....just 1 month and i was done and luckily i scored very well
u can also contact the same tutor for help.....i dont think they have any webpage or something i was referred by a friend who also took the course.... but i do have email ...it is [email protected]
What all resources u guys have written I dont even know about these .....the course really saved me ...such a relief
Its really worth doing!!!!
good luck everyone
