Hey everyone,
After not seeing people posting their scores with out getting FRAPPED, I was sort of relief. But this s*&t caught me off guard.
Bio: 22
chem: 20
ochem: 20
TS: 21
AA: 19
Before I post the normal sdn review, I would like to thank some of the members who took their time to answer my questions: SUPRAMAN, KLUTZY, CHESSWIZZARD, ALBUTEROL, and many others that I forgot to mention. You guys ROCK!!!
Testing Center:
The people there were really nice. They gave me headphones to block out the sounds and the computer were all new and clean. The only thing that I hated was the markers that they gave me. (One dried out on me).
So I got the FRAP and ETHICS combo question:
Biology: I been reading a lot of reviews on SDN and everyone always say that bio is random. I could not wait until D-DAY to see what the heck everyone was talking about. So this is what I would say about it: There were a lot of freebie type questions that any resource out there covered a million times and there were other questions that challenge you to think (just a little). Finally, there are a few type of questions that were, I guess random,
but its nothing that perhaps a bio major never came across. When I saw the FRAP question I thought maybe I should leave now and reschedule for the spring of '09. The questions just got harder from then: lots of experimental type of questions.
Study materials: Princeton review mcat (GREAT, if you want a good physiology review), destroyer (don't wast your time). I read CLIFFS AP one day before the test (GOOD).
CHEM: I feared this section the most because the last time I took it was many many years ago. I think I spent the most time studying for this. 10% calculations and 90% concepts. I wish the they gave me more calculation b/c I prepared more for calculation than the general concepts that they would teach in class. If you still have chem fresh in your mind, you don't even need to study.
Study Materials: Princeton Review MCAT (Physical Science), Destroyer (overkilled).
O-chem: I thought I would rock this section, but I was really dissappointed.
Study material: O-Chem textbook.
Anyways I been studying for a couple of months. I also work like 7 days a week while studying, so I'm really glad its over.
All the schools I applied to are still waiting for my scores. I don't know if I should continue with my application process. What do you guys think?
Thanks.
