I am finally DONE DAT:laugh: (2 full summers studying)

Scores:

PAT: 20 (79.0%)
QR: 18 (84.7%)
RC: 19 (52.2%)
BIO:21 (92.3%)
GC: 21 (87.0%)
OC: 25 (95.8%)
TS: 22 (95.6%)
AA: 21 (93.4%)

Science Cumulative GPA = 2.70
Non Science GPA = 3.22

I wanted to know is there any chance of acceptance with the numbers. I was planning on acing the DAT so it would mask the low GPA but that didn't go to well. Should I rewrite to try for a better DAT score or should I keep these scores. If breakdown is needed give me a shout will follow up.

Nice job, your scores are really good. Not much more improvement you can gain by retaking.

There are some schools (such as NYU) where DAT score is a helluva lot more important than GPA so you have a decent shot.

Those are real impressive DAT scores man. I would definitely NOT retake. I think best bet is to apply to as many colleges as you can (based on their avg's etc) and maybe you can garner an interview or two based on those awesome DAT scores. If not do a postbac or masters and improve that GPA! I just got done doing a masters and it REALLY improved my GPA!

I forgot to mention any ideas what the percents mean on the side? The side of my DAT scores.

they are the percentile in which you scored, not at all related to the percent correct on your exam

Sweet scores.

2 full summers studying? How did you remember the stuff from the previous summer?

Well honestly, I didn't really remember much. But it made it much easier and the studying really went by more smoothly. I really felt I should have gotten a better grade based on my time spent studying but a lot of the questions that I got hit with were random and unexpected. Like for Bio, I got probably 5 questions about Cell Bio lab techniques and experiments that I wasn't expecting. Oh well. I just hope I get in and get this monkey off my back?
