DAT Done! Need help with school list

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hello everyone,

Just took the DAT yesterday, so RELIEVED it is done! 🙂 I'm trying to come up with a school list now. Here are my DAT scores: 22AA , 21 TS, 21 PAT.

My overall GPA is a 3.73 and science GPA is a 3.65. I attended a private university and I am currently taking my gap year. I have 100 shadowing hours, 100+ volunteer hours, and I've worked in 2 research labs (neurology and oncology).

I'm a FL resident. Should I try for any of the top 10 schools? I know my GPA is a little low.

Thanks!
Wow, your stats are SPECTACULAR!!!!!! You must be so intelligent and hard working!!!!!!!!!! Yes, you should definitely consider applying to all the top schools, especially HARVARD!!

Is that what you wanted to hear?

Nice scores and great GPA 🙂
What do you mean by top 10 schools?

You think your GPA is low? :wtf:

Your stats are amazing. I think you'll have a good shot anywhere you apply to!
You just need to work on submitting your AADSAS application soon since earlier applicants have much more leeway than applicants that apply later in the cycle.

buy the adea online guide to dental schools, its $15.
scroll through and note which dental schools accepted a good portion of OOS students. most list where the OOS students came from, so bonus if they accepted fl students in the past.
from this list go through and see if your gap's and dat scores are at or above the accepted average (+/- 0.2 gpa pts and +/- 1 pt on dat).
eliminate schools in places you don't see yourself living.
you can also go to the school websites for this information.
