Took my DAT at the end of my winter break, I took 2 science classes in the fall that helped me with the bio section then hit it real hard for 3 weeks 12+ hours a day. I used the Kaplan book to review some Bio, DAT Destroyer for all Sciences practice problems, Chads videos (STrongly Recomend best 50 bucks out there), and crack DAT PAT (the cheapest version). I strongly recommend NOT using a course it is very doable using the cheaper alternatives. My scores are not the best especially with my slightly lacking GPA so here is where I am at

PAT: 19
OChem:20
Gchem:20
QR:20
RC:21
Bio:22
AA: 21

cGPA 3.5
sGPA 3.35

I am an accounting major , but have a chem and bio minor. I have a few hundred CS hours and am gona be ~75 hours of shadowing when applying. I am a rural MN resident. No research tho
So now I am choosing between 17 schools and wondering if I should apply to all or narrow it down?

Arizona School of Dentistry
Boston University
Case Western Reserve University
Creighton University
LECOM School of Dental Medicine
Marquette University
Midwestern University
Midwestern University, Illinois
New York University
Nova Southeastern University
University of Southern Nevada
Temple University
University of Maryland
University of Michigan
University of Minnesota
University of Pacific
University of Southern California
Western University of Health Sciences

These are nice scores. Congratulations. With all the schools you are applying to, you must get in somewhere.

Solid scores all around. I'd suggest applying early and to a wide range of schools. You'll be fine 🙂

You did very well, but like Adam said, apply to a wide array of schools. Regardless of how one does, dental admissions are a bit like a lottery. You can't say with certainty you'll get in so just be safe. At least 15 schools say 9 within range, 2 below (safety net), 4 slightly above range (though nearly all will be in your range given your stats!)

Is Arizona School of Dentistry your top choice? If so, how is that different from other schools?

Have you visited the school? How much is it per year? What is unique about it?
