great scores man!
Question, are the solved problems in the schuams guide helpful?
Bio: I did well but I thought that I would do even better. I agree with Lonely Sol. The Schaum's Bio and GRE Bio(REA Bio) are the two most important books for the DAT Bio. I happened to use those same books as my main source for the Bio and got the same score of 24 as Lonely Sol did. They will cover most of the real DAT Bio, even the weird ones.
Thanks for your nice words, drteeth and pd3.
Some helpful-but-weird Bio questions to think about :
1) What is the Muller's doctrine of specific nerve energies?
2) Schaum's solved problem 19.9 (the one with the larval frog experiment).
3) Cyclic beviors with relevant hormones. Think this in an experimental setting.
4) What does green algae do? what is it called?
5) Plant diseases (Schaum's page 201, chapter 14.4).
Know these topics and you won't regret it - and thank me later.
thank god kaplan has a whole nice section on muller's doctrine of specific nerve energies!
what chapter of kaplan is that in?
"thank god kaplan has a whole nice section on muller's doctrine of specific nerve energies!"
It's not in Kaplan.
