yeah i'm so not posting my scores...lets just say my reading score of 19 was the highest...and i thought i did WAAAY freaking better than that. (english is my only language, lol lol lol)

but i do want to summarize my dat experience for future dat takers

ok dry erase markers should come with instructions, fyi, don't leave them open they dry out faster then when you have to get more the evil procter lady will sneer at you

biology...yeah i got that crazy version that people warned me about...words of advice, i have none, but i did kaplan's online course, and it honestly didn't prepare me for that...guess i should have listen to the million suggestions to get the schuams outline, i got alot of zoology type questions who has this type of circulatory system ect...don't over look that stuff i had about 4 questions like that

chemistry..everyone is right...no calculations, you just gotta know how to set it up...and questions ranged from something crazy basic, like all i had to do was look at the periodic table and pic the correct element based on its atomic number, and then the not so easy ones, i used kaplan for that...and that pepared me, like there wasn't one that was crazy off the wall, i'm just a horible test taker (apparently)

QR ok you WILL run out of time, especially if you stop to think...dang!!! i know i got all the ones right that i had time to work, not as bad as i had thought with every one saying "word problems" i was expecting tons of the billy will be 5 times bobbys age in 17 years and billy jr is half bob sr age in 4 days...lol ...but know probability, % increase/ decrease <~ is the ada going to kill me for saying that???i don't know how much information i'm saying is too much info

reading...was fun...i was dreading the reading section!!!! i can read, i may not spell correctly but i can read, lol there was only one article i could live without...but i recommend the 15 minute break, get up walk around...cause you need to speed read!!! couple tone questions, but i thought it was easier than kaplan, too bad my score doesn't reflect it

so retest in 90 days!!! woo hoo!!! i'm not bummed about it, i'm going to take about a 2 - 3 week break...then i'll start back up...this will be my first semester without classes! so i'm going to catch up on movies, go to the gym, and write my book entitled how i gain 40 lbs studying for the dat, lol

Anyways, what material did you study from...destroyer, only kaplan? And how long?

oh of course i'm still applying, i figure they're going to get those scores anyways.

i used kaplan only (online program) i had destroyer i just never used it, um yeah i will this time, lol...apparently kaplan was easier, just because alot of the questions from kaplan were repetative so if you studied your old practice test, you would have seen the question before. i can't totally bash kaplan because they covered the math sections perfectly, it just wasn't as helpful for the sciences, i think it was too basic compared to the real thing..
