Just finished DAT few hours ago, and the results are not pleasant. Since I did bad on PAT, QR, RC, and BIO on the first DAT, I mainly studied on these areas. Clearly I improved some on PAT and BIO, little on QR, but RC is still the same (btw eng is not my first language), and the worst part is TS drops and AA the same. I just e-submitted my application on June 26, and I applied more than 10 schools including BU, Case, Creighton, IU, Temple, Tufts, Mich, Marquette, Nova, Pitts, Louisville...etc. I don't think I have time for another DAT since it will be in Oct earliest if I decide to take again. Please give me any feedback about my chance to get in. I am so worrying now. Reading through many treads, I feel I have the lowest DAT...sigh.

DAT PAT QR RC BIO GC OC TS AA
1st--16--18-15-16-23-19-19-18
2nd--21--20-15-21-18-16-18-18

Major is chemistry with overall GPA of 3.8
(an example of good GPA bad DAT.......🙁)

I dont think october is too late for a retake. I would call the schools you are applying to and find of what they think. You have good scores in all sections except RC and OC and being a chem major, you should be able to up the GC and OC section with practice. Dont get yourself down...keep at it!

Also, if you dont mind sharing, how did you improve your PAT section so much?

Good luck!

what did you use to study with this last time you took the dat. Maybe we can help you so you can blow it away in october.

WOW, did you see my threat? "what do you think?"...I guess we both got raped by the RC section!
Are you planning to retake it?
