DAT done.. Please Look!

Sorry for putting same thread in Pre-dental section..
I didn't know where to put it, so i put this in both section.

I have taken my DAT on Aug.3rd...
and i got scores like...

PAT 19
QR 15
RC 17
Bio 18
Gchm 19
Orgo 19
TS 19
AA 18

and my GPAs are

BCP 2.82
Sci 2.79
NonSci 3.97
Cumulative 3.39

I have already applied for this year..

I was considering to retake it, but my retake date would be somehwere in November...
Is it too late to retake it?

Should i just wait, and see how things go? and reapply next year?

Please i really need you guys' help!

Hey and welcome!!

I will honest with you, although your DAT scores are average, your science GPA is very low. In order to have a good chance, you will most likely need to retake and shoot for 20+. More people will likely respond, so see what they think also.

Your science and BCP gpa are low, so to make up for it, you need the DAT.

Hey how many science classes have you taken? Maybe you can take a few more to try and bring up your science GPA

I am a senior.. this is my second senior year..
I will graduate in May. I think i've taken a lot of science classes..
I am a human biology major, so i had to take a lot of bio classes.. although i have some 3 or 4 more classes to take to finish up my major requirement..

I will try my best to bring up my sci gpas this year..

My biggest problem is that if i were to retake DAT, i have to take it on November...
is it gonna be too late??

It might be too late in some schools that already have their first interviews but who knows, maybe the schools you applied for will still take them. Besides, having to retake the DAT and hopefully getting better scores will be better for you next cycle if it is too late this cycle. The only precaution is watch out since studying for the DAT might interfere with your classes and goal of improving your GPA.
